Our Accommodations
At the Carter Hall Conference Center, we pride ourselves on making sure our guests are taken care of day and night. All of our rooms have either a King Bed (that can be split into 2 Twins), 2 Double Beds, or 1 Double Bed. Spread out over different buildings on campus, we have 24 guest rooms that can lodge a maximum of 42 guests at double occupancy. Each building offers unique historical charm, while the individual rooms in Carter Hall offer an array of classic decor, or you can enjoy a more modern style in the Stone House or Cabins.
the Main manor house
Carter Hall
Carter Hall is the 18th Century main manor house, where the meeting spaces are located. It has 4 large bedrooms located on the second floor, with private en suite full bathrooms. Historically decorated in true 18th Century period style, the well-appointed Carter Hall takes you back to a simpler time.

The Right Dependency
The East House
The charming East House is the estate’s original kitchen, boasting one of the largest hearths in the state of Virginia to this day. It has 2 bedrooms located on the first floor, with private en suite full bathrooms. The East House is a fully functioning house with a full kitchen, dining room, and living room with cable TV.

The Left Dependency
The West House
The delightful West House is the estate’s original school house. It has 1 bedroom located on the main and 2 on the first floor. Guests in the West House enjoy a living room with TV and a kitchen area in the basement.

Maximum of 2 guests at full single occupancy, 3 guests if two people share a bathroom

The Original Carriage House
The Stone House
A short walk from Carter Hall, the lovely Stone House contains 11 bedrooms. Guests in the Stone House have access to a shared kitchen, an office area, and the relaxing Stone House Lounge with cable TV, comfortable seating, board games, and a foosball table.

Cabins A, C, and D are furnished with a Double bed
Cable TV in each cabin
